Basketball Ireland team up with Novaerus

National Basketball Arena manager Philip Nolan said: “We’d like to thank Novaerus for their support of the FIBA European Championship for Small Countries and for providing equipment to Basketball Ireland during the tournament. Although not a requirement to run the event, we want to thank Novaerus for the additional protection provided in using their technology, in addition to the stringent safety measures that we already have in place.”

Deirdre Devitt, CEO of Novaerus at McGreals Group, which distributes the air disinfection devices in Ireland said: “We are delighted to be supporting Basketball Ireland by providing our equipment for the FIBA European Championship for Small Countries. It is Irish-made technology and the medical-grade devices are very innovative and use patented ‘NanoStrike’ plasma technology that has been proven to inactivate 99.997% of Sars-CoV-2 the virus that causes coronavirus, as well as all airborne viruses and bacteria all year round, so air is clean and safe 24/7.”

“I want to wish the best of luck to all the teams competing at the National Basketball Arena and we’re looking forward to seeing them in action at the championship.”
