Irish teams successful at Spanish Masters event

It proved a successful weekend for the Irish Masters scene in Murica, as three teams took home silverware from the Spanish Masters, with seven sides competing in total across three age categories. 

InsureMyHouse.ie Masters National Cup finalists Brothers Near and Far won the Over 40 Men's category, Mustangs won the Over 40 Women's category and Glasnevin triumphed in the Over 55 Women's competition. 54 teams took part in men's and women's competitions from over 40s to over 60s. 

It is a first victory outside of Ireland for Brothers Near and Far, while both Mustangs and Glasnevin are no strangers to success on the international stage. 

The teams traveling from Ireland included: 

• Brothers Near and Far O40 Men
• Brothers Near and Far O45 Men
• Glasnevin O55 Women
• Mustangs O40 Women
• Emeralds O40 Women
• Galway Masters O50 Men
• Celtic Warriors  O60 Men
