The Post Primary Schools Committee (PPSC) administer four All-Ireland Schools League competitions.
Q: What age grades play in the All-Ireland Schools League competitions?
The All-Ireland Schools League is played at minor (1st year of Secondary School/Year 9 and born in 2012 or later for 2025/26 season), junior (2nd year of Secondary School/Year 10 and born in 2011 or later for 2025/26 season), U16 and U19. The competitions are in four grades, namely A, B, C & Development D.

A/ B/ C grade schools - €195 or £170stg.
D grade schools - €130 or £110
Brand new school - €60 or £50stg

Invoices will be sent to the nominated email address of the person listed as coach as part of the registration process for the All-Ireland Schools League. Please check this email inbox, or spam folder, for the invoice. Please ensure you look for your invoice on completion of your registration.

Your invoice will be processed as soon as you have submitted your registration to compete in the All-Ireland Schools League. As stated above, please ensure you look for your invoice in the email inbox of the person listed as coach as part of the registration process.
Q: If I have a mixed gender school, do I need to do the registration process twice, ie. for each gender?
Yes, please register for each competition you wish your school to enter. Separate registration is required for the All-Ireland Schools League Boys competition and All-Ireland Schools League Girls competition.
Q: What is the All-Ireland Schools League competition format?
Teams initially compete within their region and following regional finals teams qualify to advance to the All-Ireland playoff tournament, to compete for an All-Ireland Schools League title at the grades A, B and C. Development 'D' teams will compete at provincial level only.

Fines may be issued to schools by the Post Primary Schools Committee (PPSC) for a variety of reasons, including but not limited to, my school failing to fulfil a Preliminary or League Playoff. This is in line with the Post Primary Schools Committee (PPSC) Rules and Regulations.
