Intro and Advanced Table Official Courses to take place in August

The Commissioners Table Officials Committee (CTOC) will operate their latest 'Intro to Table Officials', 'Advanced Table Officials and NBN 23 Programme' online on Saturday, August 23rd and Monday, August 25th.

Both will be delivered by FIBA Table Official Mark Patton and a representative of NBN23.

Registrations will close at midnight on Wednesday, August 20th 2025 for the 'Intro to Table Officials' course and on Sunday, August 24th at midnight for the 'Advanced Table Officials and NBN 23 Programme'.

Intro Course

Saturday 23rd August - Online

Time - 09:30 - 15:00

Cost - €25 per person

Participants under the age of 16 years must have parental approval

Advanced Course

Monday 23rd August - Online

Time - 19:00 - 21:45

Cost - €25 per person

Participants must have completed the Intro Course and had a minimum of 12 months practical senior game time officiating on the table.

Advanced Table Officials Course Timetable

19.00 – 20.00 - Scorer’s Advanced role, duties, and mechanics
20.00 – 21.00 - Shot clock operator’s Advanced role, duties, and mechanics, timer’s role, duties, and mechanics.
21.00 – 21.45 - NBN23 Advanced Operation Module – to be confirmed
