Basketball Ireland and Off The Ball agree 3-year media partnership

Basketball Ireland is pleased to announce a three-year agreement with Off The Ball to become the official media partners of the Domino's Men's and Women's Super League and Division One. Off The Ball will deliver extensive news coverage of the Irish domestic game across its radio and digital platforms.

Off The Ball’s dedicated radio coverage will include a dedicated weekly “This week in Irish basketball”, as well as the latest fixtures and results from the domestic game. Off The Ball’s weekend coverage will have live score updates and conclude with a special results round-up of all the action. Off The Ball’s radio coverage will be complemented by social media output.

Off The Ball will also be on the ground in the lead up and during major events, such as the Domino’s National Cup Finals and the Domino’s Super League Playoff Finals.

Speaking about the partnership, Off The Ball’s Managing Editor, Michael McCarthy, said:

Speaking at the launch at Marconi House, Basketball Ireland’s Head of Communications, Media and Digital, Nathaniel Cope, said:

It complements our international and domestic broadcast partnership with TG4, along with the fact every game from the National League is live on our dedicated streaming platform, BITV, while also being able to follow games and get the latest stats through the Swish All Hoops App.

“Off The Ball is respected voice on Irish sport and they’ll do an excellent job in highlighting all the thrills and spills that’s played out on the court week in and week out. The growth of basketball over the last number of years has been huge and this partnership will help raise the profile of the sport even more, engaging new and existing fans across the season.”

The Domino’s Men’s and Women’s Super League tips off on October 3^rd, with some blockbuster games taking place in gameweek one. Reigning men’s champions Ballincollig will take on Limerick Celtics in a Munster derby, while defending women’s champions Trinity Meteors host Career Decisions UCC Glanmire in a repeat of the 2025/26 Playoff Finals.
