The first round of trials for the Basketball Ireland Masters Programme 2025/26 will take place on Saturday, September 6th in Carlow.
Those wishing to attend should fill out the expression of interest form here.
Teams are eligible to compete at the following age groups subject to sufficient interest.
This is your chance to represent Ireland on the international stage at the FIMBA Maxibasketball European Championships in Athens in the summer of 2026.

Basketball Ireland would like to request expressions of interest from teams interested in competing in the Basketball Ireland Masters National Cup 2025/26.
Brothers Near and Far defeated Leixlip Zalgiris 86-79 in a thriller at the National Basketball Arena in April to win the Over 40 men's category, making them back-to-back champions at different age grades. The entry fee per team is €160. New teams entering the Masters National Cup must also pay a bond of €165. For those teams who paid the bond last year, this bond will roll over to this year.
Categories will be determined based on entry levels, but a guide to who is eligible for O40 and O50 are:
Thr format will run with group games must be completed by December 14th, Quarter finals will take place in January, semi-finals in early February, and finals end of February.
