Basketball Ireland 2023 award winners announced
Basketball Ireland's annual award winners for 2023 have been announced.
57 categories were hotly contested at all levels from refereeing and schools competitions, to the InsureMyVan.ie and MissQuote.ie Super League player of the year.
Among those bringing home silverware is MJ Randolph, who picks up the InsureMyVan.ie Super League player of the year crown after a stellar season with UCC Demons.
Brittany Byrd of The Address UCC Glanmire receives the MissQuote.ie Super League gong, following a standout season in which she helped the team to the MissQuote.ie Super League and MissQuote.ie Champions Trophy titles.

Basketball Ireland introduced a 'Volunteer of The Year' category for the first time and it became one of the most sought after awards, with nominations flooding in. So much so that it has been split into provincial winners due to the volume of worthy entrants.
We're also delighted to announce that three people are being recognised with the 2023 President's Lifetime Achivement Award, Margaret Miley, Marie O'Toole and Shay Dooley.
Presentations will be made at our awards evening on Saturday, May 6th.
