Nike is synonymous with basketball and this partnership is a major acknowledgement of the progress that basketball is making here in Ireland. Having Nike - the world’s number one sports brand - adorn our kit and leisurewear will help us elevate the sport even further, both in Ireland and beyond.”
Basketball Ireland has been working with KitKing to design and develop the new Nike Ireland international kit and leisurewear range. The official kit launch will take place in late Autumn.
Dips Patel, KitKing CEO, added: “We’re thrilled to be teaming up with Basketball Ireland. Basketball is Ireland’s number one indoor sport and it’s growth in popularity is clear to see. This partnership will see all Irish international teams - from senior, underage, academy and masters level - wear the Nike swoosh. Our designers have been collaborating with Basketball Ireland to bring to life an exciting on-court, off-court and leisurewear range, that we believe sports fans will love too.”
The new Nike replica kit and leisurewear will be available at the end of 2024 to buy through Basketball Ireland’s exclusive retail partner, Intersport Elverys.
Additionally KitKing will serve as Basketball Ireland’s official teamwear partner, catering to kit requirements of clubs across Ireland.
