Ireland Masters squads presented with jerseys ahead of FIMBA European Championship
The players and staff of the seven teams that will represent Ireland at the FIMBA European Championship in Pesaro, Italy received their official playing kit during a presentation at the National Basketball Arena.
Seven teams will travel to Italy to compete over ten days from June 21st in categories from O40 to O65 men's and women's. The competition features more than 165 teams from around the world, with this being the largest contingent of players that the Basketball Ireland Masters programme has sent to compete since the inception of the programme.
Basketball Ireland Masters Lead Mike Murray said: "This is another hugely important day for the players and coaches receiving their playing kit. All the teams have been putting in serious preparation behind the scenes and the tournament is really starting to come into focus now. We are all looking forward to it immensely."
