National Basketball Referees Association confirm date for 2023 Referees National Conference

The National Basketball Referees Association (NBRA) are delighted to announce that the 2023 Referees National Conference will take place on the weekend of the 23/24^th September 2023 in the National Basketball Arena, Dublin. 

Mr. Fernando Garzon from Spain will be the keynote speaker at the conference.  Garzon is a very experienced FIBA Referee who has previously been involved in crews at the highest level of European basketball as well as serving as FIBA Referee Instructor on competitions including EuroLeague and FIBA EuroBasket. He also worked as a referee instructor at the FIBA U18 Women's European Championship in Dublin in 2018. 

Fernando has also been the FIBA Referee Instructor linked to Ireland for the Small Countries Officials Development (SCOD) Programme as well as hosting a series of online webinars. More details on the 2023 Referees National Conference will be sent out to all officials once details are finalised in the coming weeks.
