Represent Ireland in Masters basketball in 2025

Basketball Ireland is inviting expressions of interest from members who would be interested in representing Ireland as a player, coach, team manager, assistant or physio at the 17th World MaxiBasketball Championship in Ticino, Switzerland in the summer of 2025. 

It follows on from a hugely successsful summer for the Basketball Ireland Masters programme in 2024, which saw seven teams compete at the FIMBA European Championship in Pesaro, Italy. This was the largest contingent of teams that have represented Ireland in the annual competition to date in categories from over 40 to over 65 men and women.

More than 200 players took part in the inital open trials for these teams last year and Basketball Ireland would now encourage those who wish to be a part of the programme for 2025 to fill out the short survey below, so we can gauge numbers for the coming year.
