Pipers Hill Naas crowned Pinergy All-Ireland U19B Schools Cup Champions after convincing 39-22 victory

Last year’s beaten finalists Pipers Hill College Naas were crowned Pinergy U19B All-Ireland Schools’ Cup Champions after a 39-22 triumph over The Teresian School.

Mya Pardy who featured in 3x3 action for Ireland in summer starred with 19 points, picking up the MVP award.


The game was nip and tuck early on with Sophie Bradshaw kickstarting a good run for Teresian in the first quarter, but they finished the quarter two behind.

Stephanie Nnabuihe was vital on the rebounds for Pipers Hill and also contributed with 16 points of her own as Pipers Hill went in with an eight point lead at the interval.



Pipers Hill picked up where they left off in the third, limiting their opponents to two.

Helena Keane, on the court for her second final of the day had a couple of threes go down to bridge the gap, but it was not to be for the U16B final MVP.

Speaking after the game, MVP Mya Pardy said: “It’s unbelievable, a dream come true. I couldn’t have asked for a better game.”
