Basketball Ireland launch 'Strategic Planning' course for clubs via Helpside

Basketball Ireland is launching a Strategic Planning Course for clubs on our Learning Management System (LMS) Helpside in partnership with Geoff Wilson. 

Geoff Wilson runs his own marketing and communications consultancy business, with a focus primarily on sport. He previously worked as Head of Marketing & Communications at the Irish FA, where he was responsible for public relations, commercial programmes, brand development and communication to fans.

More recently, Mr. Wilson has worked with the likes of FIBA, FIFA, UEFA, AFC and other global sports organisations in a wide range of areas from strategic planning, marketing and communications, digital, fan engagement, public affairs and knowledge sharing/exchange programs.

In addition, he consults with several sports tech companies in the CRM, eSports, wearable and fan engagement space, lectures part-time in marketing at Queen’s University Belfast and is Chair of Netball Northern Ireland, as well as a member of the board at Tourism Northern Ireland.
