AIG All-Ireland Club Championships titles for Limerick Celtics, Meteors and Athlone

Division ‘A’ 

Limerick Celtics delivered a commanding performance to secure the U16 Girls AIG All-Ireland Club Championship Division 'A' crown, culminating in a 45-22 victory over St. Mary's Castleisland in the final in Gormanston.​

The Limerick side started strong, going unbeaten in Group 1 with wins against St. Mary's Castleisland, Templeogue, and Meteors. Their momentum continued into the knockout stages, recording a 46-21 quarter-final win over Tramore and a 70-40 semi-final triumph against Portlaoise Panthers.​

In the final, Laura Buckley led the scoring with 14 points, guiding Limerick Celtics to a comprehensive win and an AIG AICC Division ‘A’ title. 

Division ‘B’ 

Meteors were crowned U16 Girls AIG All-Ireland Club Championship Division ‘B’ champions, following a 37-23 win over Limerick Sport Huskies.

The Dublin club produced a solid run through the knockout stages, beginning with a 36-24 quarter-final win over Longford Phoenix, that was followed by a 39-17 victory against Muckno Lakers in the semi-final.

In the final, Meteors took control early and maintained their advantage to see off the challenge of Limerick Sport Huskies, securing the AIG AICC U16 Girls Division ‘B’ title.

Division ‘C’

Athlone emerged as the U16 Girls AIG All-Ireland Club Championship Division ‘C’ champions, following a 50-31 win over Clare Panthers. 

The Westmeath side progressed to the final, starting with a 45-18 win over Carrick Cougars in the quarter-final. In the semi-finals, Athlone continued with a 46-13 win, led by standout performances from Eabha McGlynn (10 points) and Chloe Malone (15 points), both reaching double figures.

Athlone delivered a 50-31 win in the final against Clare Panthers to secure the Division 'C' title.
