Basketball Ireland returns to the National Basketball Arena on Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 August 2026 for two days of practical, on-court coaching and coaching theory. The theme this year is The Complete Coach: the technical, tactical and mental sides of the job, for coaches at every level. The line-up is now complete, and tickets are on sale.

Kirby Schepp

Head Coach, University of Manitoba · Canada

Kirby Schepp is head coach at the University of Manitoba and a long-standing figure in Canada's national programme. He is known for clear, teachable offensive systems and for developing players. Kirby delivers four sessions across the weekend, covering the transition into a 5-out offence off a two-side fast break, teaching offensive concepts with constraints and small-sided games, ideas in team building and value-centred leadership, and using triggers to play with pace.

Dejan Mihevc

Assistant Coach, Slovenia & Würzburg Baskets · Slovenia

Dejan Mihevc is one of European basketball's most experienced coaches, with more than twenty years across five countries at club and international level. He is currently an assistant coach with the Slovenian senior men's national team and with Würzburg Baskets in the German BBL, and was voted Coach of the Year in both England and Poland as a head coach. He joins us through FIBA and delivers three sessions: the Chameleon offence built on spacing, an in-season skill blueprint for daily practice, and season management beyond the X's and O's.

Eamon Devlin

Minute9 · Ireland

Eamon Devlin of Minute9 studies the moments that decide games: the halftime team talk, the time-out and the in-game decision. Minute9 has worked with two NBA teams and brings an evidence-led angle that applies to any sport. Eamon delivers two sessions, one on halftime team talks and game preparation, and one on the lessons coaches can take from elite environments.

Andy Muir

Co-founder & CEO, Coach Logic · Scotland

Andy Muir is co-founder and chief executive of Coach Logic and has spent more than a decade building tools that help coaches review and reflect on their own work. He also leads SAM, Coach Logic's AI coach development assistant. Andy closes the conference on Sunday afternoon with a session on developing your coaching craft through reflective practice.
