Expressions of Interest requested for men's and women's BIDL and U20 Men's National League 2026/27

Basketball Ireland are now inviting expressions of interest for the 2026/27 Men’s BIDL, Women’s BIDL and U20 Men’s National League seasons. 

Basketball Ireland Development League (BIDL) 

Basketball Ireland are now looking for expressions of interest for the Basketball Ireland Development Leagues for both men and women. This is the 4th year of the Basketball Ireland Development League competitions. 

It's open to all clubs, both National League and non-National League. National League clubs may enter a 2nd team. The leagues will be run on a regional conference basis, with leading teams from the conferences qualifying for the play-offs to decide league winners. 

Clubs interested in entering the Men’s BIDL or Women’s BIDL 2026/27 should send an expression of interest email by close of business on Friday 19th June to Dáire Murray - dmurray@ireland.basketball. 

U20 Men's National League 

Basketball Ireland are also looking for expressions of interest for the U20 Men’s National League. The league will be run on a regional conference basis with leading teams from the conferences qualifying for the play-offs to decide league winners.  

Clubs interested in entering the U20 Men’s National League should send an expression of interest email by close of business on Friday 19th June to Dáire Murray - dmurray@ireland.basketball.
