Basketball Ireland launch 2025 3x3 summer programme

Basketball Ireland's 3x3 season will begin on Thursday, May 22nd at the National Basketball Arena in Dublin, with an event for U16 men and women. It begins a busy period for this format of the game - with events due to take place in Dublin, Belfast, Galway, Limerick and Cork during the summer. Building on last year’s success, plans are in place to run midweek as well as weekend events around the country for U12’s to seniors.

More events will be added to Basketball Ireland's 3x3 calendar in the coming week, with more events being added all the time, please check here for information on dates and categories.

As part of the strategy for growing the game, Basketball Ireland will be running online workshops on how to use FIBA’s 3x3 Eventmaker software, this software is free to use and allows organisers to have registration, scheduling of games and to get FIBA ranking points for all participants that compete in their events in one place. It also allows organisers to have their event advertised on FIBA Play 3x3.
