The finalised fixture schedule for National Cup finals weekend has been confirmed with tickets now on sale. The Domino’s MSL final between Ballincollig and Garvey’s Tralee Warriors is at the National Basketball Arena at 8pm on Saturday 17th January, with TG4 broadcasting live from 7.45pm. Ballincollig, who have never won the title, are playing in their second Cup final in three years, while Garvey’s Tralee Warriors are chasing their second Pat Duffy Cup, having last won it in 2021/22.
The Domino’s WSL National Cup final between defending champions FloMAX Liffey Celtics and Killester, is a repeat of last year’s decider and tips off at 5.30pm on Sunday 18th January, with coverage on TG4 starting at 5.25pm. FloMAX Liffey Celtics are chasing their third title, while Killester are seeking their fifth Paudie O’Connor Cup.
A limited number of spectator tickets for the Domino’s MSL anad WSL National Cup finals will go on sale, further tickets may be released if clubs have not used their full allocation.
Sunday also sees both Domino’s Division One finals take place, with the Domino’s WD1 final between Cleveland Rockets and Limerick Sport Huskies at 1215pm, it is followed by The Domino’s MD1 National Cup final between 2023/24 finalists Limerick Sport Eagles and 2021/22 finalists Drogheda Wolves is at 2pm.
The National Cup finals kickstart with the IWA National Cup final between seven-in-a-row chasing Rebel Wheelers and South East Swifts, which tips off at 6pm on Friday night. It is followed by the NICC Men’s National Cup final between Phoenix and Killester at 8.15pm.
Saturday’s action begins at 10am with NICC Women’s National Cup final, as Liffey Celtics chase their third title in four years, having been losing finalists last season, Fr. Mathews are their opposition. Titans are playing their second U20 Men’s National Cup final in three years, the Galway side face Neptune at 1215pm. The U18 Men’s Billy Coffey National Cup final between St. Brendan’s Tralee and Dublin Lions is at 2.30pm. The U18 Women’s National Cup Final between Gurranabraher Credit Union Brunell and Limerick Celtics is at 4.45pm, with Gurranabraher Credit Union Brunell also contesting the U20 Women’s National Cup Final, against Templeogue at 10am on Sunday.
