Basketball Ireland's Coaching Conference 2025 early bird tickets go on sale

Basketball Ireland will host a coaching conference at the National Bsaketball Arena on August 23/24th, with 600 CPD available for attendees each day. 

The first speaker to be announced is Joerik Michiels, founder of Elite Athletes, with over 15 years of coaching experience across 40+ countries. He has worked with players of all levels, from grassroots to elite, including collabotaing with the NBA and FIBA. One of the pioneers in applying small-sided games and the constraint-led approach to skill development, Joerik focusing on creating real-game situations that enhance decision-making, adaptability, and skill execution, helping athletes grow in dynamic enviorments that closely mirror the challenges of actual competition. Joerik will be presenting three sessions over the two days.

Hot lunch is provided each day and coaches will recieve 600 CPD points for each day of the conference.

This year we have also agreed a special rate for coaches who wish to stay overnight for the conference with the Louis Fitzgearld hotel. Coaches and presenters will be available for a social reception in the Louis Fitzgearld on the evening of the 23rd August. If you are interested in staying overnight please complete this form.
