Media accreditation is now open for ‘Bank Holiday Basketball’. Ireland’s men’s and women’s sides are taking part in double header’s at the National Basketball Arena on Friday 2nd and Saturday 3rd Augst, as they continue preparations for November’s FIBA Basketball World Cup 2027 European Pre-Qualifiers and the FIBA Women’s EuroBasket 2025 Qualifiers.
Ireland’s women take on Denmark at 5pm on Friday (2nd August), followed by Ireland’s men facing the Danes at 8pm. On Saturday Ireland’s women play the Netherlands at 4pm in a repeat of their recent FIBA Women’s EuroBasket 2023 Qualfier, while Ireland’s men come up against Denmark at 7pm. All games will be streamed live on basketballireland.tv.
Media wishing to cover any of the ‘Bank Holiday Basketball’ fixtures should apply via Basketball Ireland’s Media Accreditation Portal, which is available here. The deadline to apply is 6pm on Wednesday 31st July. No late applications will be accepted.
Post-game mixed zones will be in operation and media must strictly adhere to the zones allocated on their passes.
