Ireland v Austria - All you need to know

Ireland face Austria today in their second game of the FIBA EuroBasket 2025 Pre-Qualifiers. The game takes place at the National Basketball Arena, Dublin, at 5pm GMT. You can watch the game live on TG4 - Watch Live.

This fixture follows Ireland's victory over Cyprus on Thursday away in Nicosia, where they defeated the hosts 81-73 (Game report). Austria also secured a win in their opening game of the competition, beating Switzerland at home 80-64. 

Ireland will also play Switzerland in Group A of the qualifying tournament. The group winners of each group (A,B, and C) and the best ranked second-placed team from three qualifying groups, will progress to the FIBA EuroBasket 2025 Pre-Qualifiers Second Round.
