Media accreditation opens for InsureMyHouse.ie National Cup and Pinergy Schools Cup

Media seeking accreditation for the InsureMyHouse.ie National Cup finals or the Pinergy Schools Cup finals, which take place at the National Basketball Arena should email accreditation@ireland.basketball by 5pm on Friday 14^th January. Please mark the subject title ‘Schools Cup Finals accreditation’ or 'National Cup Finals accreditation'. No late applications will be accepted.

The Pinergy Schools Cup finals take place from January 18^th-20^th , with the the InsureMyHouse.ie National Cup finals, being staged from January 21^st-23^rd.

You must include your name, media organisation, position (journalist/videographer/photographer), highlighting the game/s you wish to attend (Pinergy Schools Cup finals fixtures are available here, InsureMyHouse.ie National Cup finals fixtures are available here). Those seeking accreditation must also have a copy of their EU Digital COVID Certificate (vaccine or recovery certificate) to access indoor sporting activities and events, as per government guidelines. Media and photographers attending must show their EU Digital COVID Certificate and proof of ID on arrival at the National Basketball Arena.

Face masks are mandatory for all those in attendance at the National Basketball Arena and they should be worn properly, i.e. covering the nose and mouth. All media (except commentators during the game) and photographers will be required to wear a face mask at all times when in the venue. Media/photographers should regularly sanitise their hands.

Post-game mixed zones will be in operation for games and media should maintain social distancing. Media/photographers must strictly adhere to the allocated zones on their accreditation passes.
