Joymo visit Basketball Ireland as preparations for new streaming service continue

Basketball Ireland’s streaming partner, Joymo, visited the National Basketball Arena in Dublin last week, as preparations for the rollout of the over-the-top (OTT) platform for next season continues.

Every game from the InsureMyVan.ie and MissQuote.ie Super League and Division 1, along with the InsureMyHouse.ie National Cup, will be streamed live from next season, with the OTT platform accessible via the Basketball Ireland website.

“It was fantastic being here in Dublin, kicking off out 5-year partnership. We really enjoyed the conversations we had with the team from Basketball Ireland. The onboarding of the teams has now begun and we are on track for season start. We look forward to seeing over 650 games livestreamed on Basketball Ireland's OTT platform.”

We’ve started the process to get our clubs up to speed, with training due to take place imminently, while Joymo are also busy building and designing the OTT platform infastructure, among other things. Over 650 games will be streamed each season and it’s a project we’re hugely excited about.”
