Media accreditation open for National League Finals Weekend

Media accreditation is now open for this weekend’s National League Finals, which take place at the National Basketball Arena in Dublin, from Friday 12^th-14^th April.

Media wishing to cover any of the weekend’s fixtures should apply via Basketball Ireland’s Media Accreditation Portal, which is available here. The deadline to apply is 6pm on Wednesday 10^th April. No late applications will be accepted.

Post-game mixed zones will be in operation and media must strictly adhere to the zones allocated on their passes.

On Sunday 14^th April at 2pm Pyrobel Killester and SETU Waterford Wildcats face off in the MissQuote.ie Champions Trophy final, it is followed by the InsureMyVan.ie Super League final between Pyrobel Killester and Griffith College Éanna at 4.30pm. Both games are live on TG4.

National League finals weekend starts off with the BIDL Women’s Plate between Meteors and Dublin Raiders at 6pm, followed by the BIDL Men’s Plate at 8pm.

Saturday’s action gets underway at 11am when Phoenix Wolves take on Neptune for the U20 Men’s National League Plate final, the U20’s Men’s National League title is on the line at 3.30pm, with Tralee Warriors up against Éanna. In between those two U20’s fixtures the BIDL Women’s crown will be decided, as Claregalway play Liffey Celtics at 1.15pm.

At 5.45pm it’s a repeat of the MissQuote.ie Division One Playoff final, as iSecure Swords Thunder face St. Paul's Killarney for the MissQuote.ie Women's Division One Trophy. Wrapping up the day is the InsureMyVan.ie Division One final at 8pm, which will see UCD Marian play either Limerick Sport Eagles or Moy Tolka Rovers, who play their semi-final at UL on Wednesday 10^th April at 8pm.

On Sunday, the action gets underway at 11am when Tralee Warriors and Carrick Cruisers compete in the BIDL Men’s Final, followed by the two Super League contests.
