Draw completed for 2023/24 All-Ireland Schools Cup

The draw for the 2023/24 All-Ireland Schools Cup has taken place ahead of the opening preliminary round matches on Friday, September 15th and teams can now begin to plot their way through the bracket.  

Teams will compete at U19 and U16 level across ten catagories.

Last year's U19 'A' boys champions Malahide CS will open up against Belvedere College in the 'Round of 32' on September 22nd. In the girls U19 'A' division, Virginia College, Cavan begin the journey for back to back titles with a trip to Dublin to play Holy Cross Clontarf. 

Fans of The Teresian School cheer on their team during the 2022/23 U16 'B' Girls All-Ireland Schools Cup final at the National Basketball Arena.

Calasanctius College took home the silverware in the U16 'A' girls grade a year ago. Mungret Community College will provide a stern test of their repear credentials on in the 'Round of 16',  while the U16 'A' boys competition will get underway when OLSS Castleblaney and St. Fintan's Sutton clash in the sole 'Preliminary Round' fixture. The defending champions Scoil Phobail Sliabh Luachra will have home advtange in their first hurdle towards retaining their crown. St. Patrick's Castleisland are the visitors to Rathmore in the last 32.
