Accreditation has opened for Ireland senior men’s FIBA EuroBasket 2025 Pre-Qualifiers game with Cyprus, which takes place at the National Basketball Arena on February 27th at 5pm.
Media and photographers wishing to attend the game must register their interest by emailing accreditation@ireland.basketball using the subject title ‘FIBA EuroBasket accreditation’ by 5pm on Wednesday 16th February. No late applications will be accepted. You must include your name, media organisation, position (journalist/videographer/photographer).
Face masks are mandatory for all those in attendance at the National Basketball Arena and they should be worn properly, i.e. covering the nose and mouth. All media (except commentators during the game) and photographers will be required to wear a face mask at all times when in the venue.
A post-game mixed zone will be in operation for both games. Media are reminded not to encroach the court, or seek unauthorised interviews with teams or officials.
Media/photographers must strictly adhere to the allocated zones on their accreditation passes.
Both of Ireland’s FIBA EuroBasket 2025 Pre-Qualifiers games this month will be streamed live on the Ireland.basketball website and YouTube, starting with their away game against Switzerland on February 24th, where Matt Hall will be joined in commentary by former Ireland senior men’s captain Jason Killeen. Matt Hall will be on commentary duty once more for the game with Cyprus, with his co-commentator to be announced.
