Basketball Ireland has been nominated for an award at the Irish Sports Industry awards, which take place next Tuesday May 17th.
The work of Basketball Ireland in rolling out the Cara Xcessible initiative is being recognised in the Inclusivity in Sport & Physical Activity category, where we are one of six nominees.

In recent years Basketball Ireland has made major strides in creating opportunities for atheletes with disabilities to be part of the basketball community. Just the last December, the organisation became the first NGB to achieve the Cara Xcessible Silver award, in recognition of the success of the initiative.
