As part of our efforts to grow the game of basketball in Ireland and raise the profile of our players and bring the game to new communities, Basketball Ireland appeared on Virgin Media’s flagship morning television show Ireland AM earlier.
Ireland senior men’s vice-captain Sean Flood was joined by women’s international Lynn Tunnah and former DBS Éanna player Michael Darragh MacAuley.

The Ireland players who participated in today's event.
They took the opportunity to highlight the consistent growth of basketball in this country over the last few years, as well as the recent performances of our senior men’s and women’s teams. Also participating in the event were some of our FIBA U17 3x3 Europe Cup qualifying teams, who jetted back from Hungary last week after competing.
