Dates and times for end of season National League playoff quarter-finals announced

The fixture dates and times for the InsureMyVan.ie Super League and Division 1 and MissQuote.ie Champions Trophy Playoff quarter-finals have been set. Defending InsureMyVan.ie Super League champions Irish Guide Dogs Ballincollig @MTU host Killester at 4pm at the MTU Arena. The winners of that game will have to wait until Sunday to find out their semi-final opponents, with North Conference winners Belfast Star hosting current InsureMyHouse.ie National Cup champions UCC Demons in De La Salle at 4pm. 

On Saturday Maree BC, who reached the final of the InsureMyVan.ie Super League playoffs last season, host EJ Sligo All-Stars at 7pm in Calasanctius College, with Griffith College Éanna tipping off at the same time against Garvey’s Tralee Warriors in Coláiste Éanna.

Pyrobel Killester and FloMAX Liffey Celtics will battle it out for the MissQuote.ie Super League title on Saturday, after a one-off playoff final was required to separate the sides who finished with equal 17-3 records. That decider tips off at 7.30pm at the National Basketball Arena and tickets for that game can be purchased here.

The MissQuote.ie Champions Trophy quarter-finals start on Saturday, when SETU Waterford Wildcats host InsureMyHouse.ie Paudie O’Connor Cup finalists Catalyst Fr. Mathews at 5pm at Mercy School. On Sunday it’s a Cork derby, as Cup winners Gurranabraher Credit Union Brunell host Cork rivals The Address UCC Glanmire at 2.45pm.

In the InsureMyVan.ie Division One, North Conference winners UCD Marian take on Scotts Lakers Killarney at 7pm in Oatlands College. The Barrow Centre is the venue for SETU Carlow versus Drogheda Wolves, which gets underway at 5pm and the winners of those two games will meet in the semi-finals.

On the other side of the draw, South Conference winners Limerick Celtics have home advantage against Moy Tolka Rovers, which is at 7pm in Cresent College, while it’s Kavanagh’s Portlaoise Panthers versus Limerick Sport Eagles at 7.30pm in St. Mary’s Hall.

The last semi-final spot in the MissQuote.ie Division One League Trophy will be decided on Saturday, as Templeogue take on Limerick Sport Huskies at 7pm at Nord Anglia School. The prize for the victors is a trip to St. Paul’s Killarney, on a yet to be determined date. The other semi-final, between iSecure Swords Thunder and Limerick Celtics has been finalised for Sunday week, March 31st, at 5.30pm in ALSAA.
