Basketball Ireland is looking to increase its presence in the South Dublin Area with a Basketball Ireland Development Officer and is now inviting applications for the role in conjunction with Active South Dublin.
The successful candidate will be committed to providing participation opportunities for all sections of the community in various basketball activities. They will work with organisations including local authorities, clubs, schools and Basketball Ireland, with the primary goal of ensuring that suitable programmes and training services are in place at local and national levels.

Basketball Ireland Head of Development.
The “BDO” will continue to deliver Basketball Ireland Programmes and ensure that the activities in South Dublin are properly integrated into the broader objectives of promoting basketball and community development generally.
The “BDO” will work closely with existing agencies, as nominated by Active South Dublin, and operate in an integrated manner with all relevant personnel, communities, and target groups.
These target groups will be reviewed on an annual basis and amended as required. Work programmes that are developed must include the designated target groups.
Full-Time, 40 Hours per week. The successful candidate must be flexible to evening and weekend working hours
