Advanced Table Officials Programme to take place in August

The Commissioners Table Officials Committee (CTOC) will operate an 'Advanced Table Officials Programme' online on Monday, August 12th, comprising of two modules ahead of the 2024/25 National League season. 

It will take place between 19:00 and 21:30 and be delivered by FIBA Table Official Mark Patton and Jorge Ramos, NBN23 Tutor.

Please note that participants must have completed the Basketball Ireland certified Table Officials Introduction Course and have a minimum of 2 years table experience on Senior League games. All participants must be over the age of 16.

Timetable

• 19.00 – 20.00 - Scorer’s Advanced role, duties, and mechanics
• 20.00 – 21.00 - Shot clock operator’s Advanced role, duties, and mechanics, timer’s role, duties, and mechanics
• 21:00 - 21:30 - NBN23 Advanced Operating Module

All sessions will be based on the new FIBA Rules effective for the 2024/25 season.
