Basketball Ireland 2024 Annual Award Winners
Ahead of Basketball Ireland's 2024 Annual Awards at the Royal Marine hotel in Dun Laoghaire on Saturday evening, let's take a look at who we will be welcoming on stage.
This year's four Hall of Fame inductees are Jillian Hayes, Deora Marsh, Sheila Gillick and Tony Burke, while Donal Walsh, Ger Tarrant and Kitty and John Glavin are being honoured with a Presidents' Lifetime Achievement Award.
In total - there are 58 categories being presented on the night, with the addition of Social Media Club of The Year for the first time.
Among those bringing home silverware is Josh Wilson, who picks up the InsureMyVan.ie Super League player of the year crown after a stellar season with Griffith College Éanna.
Claire Melia of Pyrobel Killester receives the MissQuote.ie Super League gong, following a standout season in which she helped the team to the MissQuote.ie Super League and MissQuote.ie Champions Trophy titles.
