Ireland U20 Men's National Team coach to hold open talent identification session

Ireland U20 Men's National Team head coach Thomas Walsh will hold an open talent identification session later this month as he begins preparations for FIBA Youth EuroBasket 2026. 

It'll take place in the National Basketball Arena in Dublin on Sunday, January 25th between 11:00 and 15:00. A training fee of €20 will be required and can be paid on the day. Players born in 2006 and 2007 are eligible.

We had a goal of making quarter-finals last summer and we achieved it. We hope to stay highly competitive with the talented U20 players in the Irish league and overseas.
