Basketball Ireland announce Referee Educators Training Programme

Basketball Ireland is pleased to announce the commencement of our Referee Educators Training Programme. It begins on Tuesday 17th August, and will run every Tuesday and Thursday until September 9th.

The Programme is aimed at any member who is interested in the education of referees, be it at local or national level. It will cover topics such as Teaching & Learning, IOT’s (Individual Officiating Techniques) 2PO Mechanics, Introduction to coaching, 3PO Mechanics, Assessing Referee Performances, Referee Mentoring/Coaching and Video Breakdown.
