"It’s an important occasion to acknowledge the commitment and effort that our players have put in to represent their country. You have all done us so proud. Thank you to the coaches and staff of our international teams. They have dedicated so much time and energy over the last year - both on and off the court - to prepare the players for this summer’s FIBA Youth EuroBasket . I’d also like to thank the various team sponsors, who made an invaluable contribution to all our underage teams.
Behind every player there is a huge network - family, friends, international, school and club coaches, backroom staff and volunteers - and I would like to thank everyone for their time and sacrifice, along with their unwavering support of the players."
