Media accreditation open for FIBA Basketball World Cup 2027 Pre-Qualifiers

Media accreditation is now open for Ireland’s must-win FIBA Basketball World Cup 2027 Pre-Qualifiers against Azerbaijan and Kosovo next week.

Ireland take on Azerbaijan at 5pm on Thursday 21^st November at the National Basketball Arena, followed by Kosovo at the same venue on Sunday 23^rd November at 5pm. Both games are live on TG4.

Media wishing to cover either/both FIBA Basketball World Cup 2027 Pre-Qualifiers fixtures should apply via Basketball Ireland’s Media Accreditation Portal, which is available here. The deadline to apply is 5pm on Tuesday 19^th November. No late applications will be accepted.  

Post-game mixed zones will be in operation and media must strictly adhere to the zones allocated on their passes.
