Basketball Ireland is pleased to announce that GEM Construction is joining the list of Team Supporters of the Ireland U20 women for the upcoming FIBA Youth EuroBasket tournament in August.
Ireland will face Ukraine and Great Britain in the group phase as they look to progress to the quarter-finals for the second year in succession. Ireland U20 women's head coach Karl Kilbride has named his final twelve-player squad at the start of June, which includes three players who have been capped for the Irish senior international women's team in the last year. Recent Texas University commit Grace Prenter, Cleveland Rockets' Caitlin Gloeckner and Meteors BC's Aisling Moran, while two players - Izzy Sullivan and Lucy Hynes - will make their FIBA Youth EuroBasket debuts in Miskolc, Hungary.
Basketball Ireland’s Head of Commercial and Brand Gus Lewis said: “I'm delighted that GEM Construction have agreed to return as a Team Supporter of the Ireland U20 women's programme for this summer's FIBA Youth EuroBasket. Their company values closely align with the environment we are continuing to develop in Basketball Ireland and having Team Supporters who match the values of excellence, resilience and attention to detail that our teams display on the court is very exciting for the basketball community."
