Nominations now open for Basketball Ireland's 'Volunteer of the Year' awards

Nominations are now open for Basketball Ireland's 'Volunteer of the Year' awards. They will be presented at the Basketball Ireland Annual Awards and Hall of Fame evening, to recognise the work of volunteers in our clubs and communities across Ireland. There are four awards to be handed out, for Leinster, Munster, Ulster and Connacht.

Nominations will be accepted for the ‘Volunteer of The Year’ category by filling out a short form (below) which includes the following information: 

1. Name of person being nominated.
2. Name of club associated with.
3. Role(s) within the club.
4. Why do you feel this person is deserving of Basketball Ireland’s ‘Volunteer of The Year’ award?

A deadline for nominating your chosen club member, or volunteer, is Monday, April 11^th at 5pm sharp.

The winners will be invited to attend the Basketball Ireland Annual Awards and Hall of Fame evening, which will take place at the Royal Marine Hotel in Dun Laoghaire on May 17th.
