Basketball Ireland is pleased to announce a two new appointments to the organisation.
Christine Connolly has been appointed to the role of Head of International and Schools Operations. Connolly joins Basketball Ireland after 23 years with Six Nations Rugby and British & Irish Lions. She has a demonstrated history of working at the highest level in the sports industry. She will take up her role from August 29th, taking over from Sinead Bennett.
Bennett leaves Basketball Ireland after working in the organisation for over a year, doing an excellent job in all facets of her role.
John Feehan, Basketball Ireland CEO said : “I would like to thank Sinead for her contribution to our organisation and wish her well for the future. She will work with Christine to ensure a smooth transition. I’m also looking forward to working with Christine during a very exciting time for Basketball Ireland.”
Luke Faughnan also joins as a part-time Media and Communications Assistant, working on weekends. Faughnan has previously worked with Shamrock Rovers on their digital media team.
