Return of underage international open trials and BI National Academy

Basketball Ireland's international programme will return this October, with open trials for U16, U17, and U18 players.

These trials for the boys and girls teams will be open to all registered Basketball Ireland members that feel they are of suitable standard to make their age-appropriate international team.

All players require an Irish passport to be eligible for selection, however if a player is in the process of applying for a passport that will be finalised in the next six months please contact the International Liaison Officer, Matthew Hall, by email at mhall@ireland.basketball to establish eligibility.

Players must be under the age mentioned at midnight on December 31st 2021. For example, for U16 level players must be aged 15 until December 31st 2021 and cannot turn 16 until 2022.

Details of times, venues, and registration will appear on the Basketball Ireland website and social media channels over the next two weeks.

BI National Academy
