Basketball Ireland Club Draw goes digital for 2024
The Basketball Ireland Club Draw is going digital, making it easier than ever to support your local club in generating vital funds, while also being in with a chance to win some great prizes.
For the first time it’s possible to buy a ticket from your club online. Simply go to ireland.basketball/clubdraw on your computer, phone or tablet, register, pick the club you wish to support and enter the draw - all in a few clicks.
Since being created in 2014, the Basketball Ireland Club Draw has provided €892,895 in funding directly to participating clubs, to help them engage and grow within their local community. The total generated in 2022/23 surpassed €85,000 and with the new digital platform simplifying the process further, there has never been a better way to benefit your club.
Prizes include trips to Boston, Disneyland Paris and the Italian Grand Prix 2024, as well an Apple Product Suite, a Samsung TV Entertainment System and more.
“We wanted to make the process as easy as possible for our clubs to reach a large audience,” said Basketball Ireland CEO John Feehan. “Digitising the Club Draw will allow members of the basketball community at home and abroad to help their local club in a meaningful way. It has been an excellent fundraiser for clubs at all levels for the last nine years and I’ve no doubt this move will allow it to become more accessible and beneficial than ever.”
Tickets cost €10, or you can purchase five for €45. 75% of all proceeds generated go directly to participating clubs, with 25% used to cover the costs of operations and the exciting prizes on offer.
The lucky prize winners from Basketball Ireland Club Draw will be announced at half-time during the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2027 European Pre-Qualifiers game against Switzerland on Sunday, February 25th 2024.

Who are Galabid?
Galabid are the software providers for the Basketball Ireland Club Draw. You will receive email/phone notifications from Galabid after you register and purchase a Club Draw ticket. If you do not receive these emails, please ensure you check your spam folder.
What are the timings of the Club Draw?
The Club Draw is open from Wednesday 13th of December 2023 and it closes on Sunday 25th February 2024
How do I buy a ticket?
Simply choose a basketball club from the list on the homepage of this website, select the number of tickets you wish to purchase, register your contact details and then make payment.
How much are the tickets?
Tickets cost €10 each, or you can purchase five for €45.
What if I am not attached to a club?
Feel free to select any club, or maybe chose a club that’s close to your community.
How do I know if I have won?
The draw is scheduled to take place on Sunday 25th of February 2024. Winners will be notified through the contact details they provide.

What is the Club Draw for?
The Club Draw is to help provide funding for our basketball clubs across the country, to support their operations and work in the local communities. Almost €900,000 has been raised by clubs since the draw was launched in 2014.
How much money goes directly to clubs?
75% of all the Club Draw ticket revenue goes directly to basketball clubs. 25% goes towards the cost of running the Club Draw, including the building and operation of the Club Draw website and all the fantastic prizes.
How do you split the money between Clubs?
Clubs will get 75% of ticket revenue from all the tickets that are purchased by selecting their club on this website.
