Basketball Ireland's 3x3 season launches this weekend

Basketball Ireland’s 3x3 season will get underway at the National Basketball Arena on Saturday, April 20^th for the first of 11 confirmed events in Dublin, Belfast, Galway, Limerick and Cork. Further stops will be added to the schedule in the coming weeks and months.

There are also plans to run midweek events, as well as weekend competitions, for men and women from U12 up to senior as part of Basketball Ireland’s strategy for the growth of the 3x3 format.

To help facilitate an increase in the number of 3x3 events taking and make it as easy as possible for those wishing to organise a competition, Basketball Ireland will host a series of online workshops explaining how to use FIBA’s 3x3 Eventmaker software.

Creating an event through FIBA 3x3 Eventmaker is free and allows organisers to have registration and scheduling of fixtures in one place. It also enables players to accumulate FIBA ranking points for competing in your event. The first workshop will take place on Thursday, April 18^th at 7pm. Please click here to register.
