Open trial to take place for Ireland U20 men's team

Ireland U20 Men's Head Coach Thomas Walsh will hold an open talent identification session, as preparations begin in earnest for the FIBA European Championship next summer.

It'll take place at the National Basketball Arena on January 28th 2024, from 11am until 3pm. All players wishing to take part must register in advance of attending the trial.

€15 will be collected from each player wishing to participate on the day of the trials in the Arena.

“We’re looking forward to starting a new campaign for next summer in Romania. I’ve noticed some of the U20 men playing well with their clubs around the country. It will be great to get them all to one venue for some challenging sessions. We have a few months to get the roster together and find the players that are up for the challenge of FIBA European Championships.”
