Take part in our open trials for the Ireland Masters basketball team

Basketball Ireland will hold open trials for our international Masters programme at Neptune Stadium, Cork on Saturday, February 24th.

Teams will be selected for both men and women at O40, O45, O50, O55 and O60 level to go on and represent Ireland at the FIMBA European Championships in 2024. 

SCHEDULE:

• Registration: 10am
• O40/45 Men: 10:30am -12pm
• O40/45 Women:  12pm–1:30pm
• O50/55 Men: 1:30 pm– 2:45pm
• O50/55 Women: 2:45pm - 4pm
• O60 Women: 4pm–5pm

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Register 30 minutes before your session.
2. Please bring a white and black training top.
3. The trials will be ran in a scrimmage format.
4. There will NOT be a warm up period in the 1.15 hour trial so it’s important all players are prepared to play at their allocated time. There’s plenty of space in the arena to warm up individually before each session.
5. There will be a cost of €10 per player to tryout.

PLAYER ELIGIBILITY RULE:

Players holding Irish citizenship or resident in Ireland for 1 year or more are eligible to play.
