As we approach Women in Sport Week 2022, Basketball Ireland are looking forward to hosting two events over the week of 7^th – 12^th March 2022.

FIBA Her World Her Rules Day, National Basketball Arena

As part of the FIBA Her World Her Rules programme, Basketball Ireland will host a Her World Her Rules day in the National Basketball Arena on Wednesday 9^th March 2022 which also coincides with the Sport Ireland Active Participation Day. We look forward to welcoming over 150 girls from 4^th -6^th Class to the National Basketball Arena to participate in a morning of skills, drills and get to meet some top female international players too.

SOCIA-BALL fun Day comes to the National Basketball Arena

Basketball Ireland are delighted to host the first ever SOCIA-Ball event in the National Basketball Arena, Dublin on Saturday 12^th March 2022. The event will see eight teams come to the arena to participate in a non-competitive event where the emphasis is on participation and fun.

This programme is part of the Basketball Ireland Women in Sport programme and has over 400 women engage with the programme since its launch in October 2022. We are very much looking forward to hosting this day and look forward to seeing the growth of this participation programme over the next couple of months and years.
