Call out to clubs to register their interest to compete in National League Division 2

The National Leagues Committee (NLC) is introducing a National League Division 2 for both men and women for the upcoming 2023/24 season.

It is intended to be a developmental league for the first two years and it will allow teams to prepare to enter the full National League in 2025. In addition to new teams looking to enter National League, this league is also open to current National League clubs to enter a second team.

The leagues will be played on a regional basis, with group games first and then a knock-out phase, with the final taking place as part of the National League Finals weekend at the National Basketball Arena in April 2024. On the women’s side, this new league will be replacing the Women's National Intermediate League, which took place last season. 

The NLC are now looking for expressions of Interests from teams looking to enter this league. Please email National League Manager, John Walsh, on jwalsh@ireland.basketball by 5pm Friday 28^th July.
