Coachford Equestrian Centre become Ireland U16 Men's Team Supporter for FIBA Youth EuroBasket

Basketball Ireland is pleased to announce that Coachford Equestrian Centre is becoming a Team Supporter of the Ireland U16 men for the upcoming FIBA Youth EuroBasket tournament in August. 

Ireland will face Slovakia, North Macedonia, Bosnia & Herzegovina,  Cyprus and Poland in the group phase of the competition, with the top two from 'Group B' advancing to the quarter-final stages. The Ireland squad for FIBA Youth EuroBasket 2025 was named earlier this month, including players from schools in five counties - Kerry, Dublin, Antrim, Limerick and Meath, while five players, Declan Ehigie, Kieran O'Shaughnessy, Aidan McGrath, Hubert Gocek and Nemanja Prodanic -are based overseas in the USA, Spain and Germany respectively. 

Basketball Ireland’s Head of Commercial and Brand Gus Lewis said: “I'm delighted Coachford Equestrian Centre has decided to become a Team Supporter of our U16 men's team for the upcoming FIBA Youth EuroBasket in August. Ensuring our squads at all levels have the best preparation and support system as possible ahead of elite competition is hugely important. My thanks goes to everyone in Coachford Equestion Centre for helping Basketball Ireland to achieve that goal."
