Basketball Ireland invite expression of interest for international 3x3 coaching programme

Basketball Ireland are inviting expressions of interest from coaches who would like to be involved in 3x3 at all levels as part of our international programme. 

A series of coach education days are going to run alongside the international 3x3 programme for coaches interested in learning more about the 3x3 format.

Those wishing to take part must be available to attend international training camps in April and May, where they will have the chance to observe practice sessions and ask questions of the coaches, with the end goal of coaching in future sessions, depending on the level. The aim is to increase the knowledge and participation of 3x3 basketball across the country.

Through this initiative, Basketball Ireland will also identify coaches to be part of the growing international programme for 3x3 basketball, as well as creating opportunities for 3x3 grass roots coaches. Prespective coaches must be interested and willing to engage in this relatively new format of the sport.

Basketball Ireland is committed to supporting the development of coaches to grow 3x3 basketball.

Dates and times for confirmed 3x3 coach education sessions:

• Oblate Hall, Inchicore, Dublin, Saturday April 22nd, 1:30pm - 6.30pm.  
• May 21st/22nd - venue and times TBC.
