1. Teams must only comprise of players resident in the same province. 
2. All players must be registered with Basketball Ireland and hold a valid current BIPIN.

3. The competition will be a regionalised open draw knockout national competition.
4. Referees & T.O.  fee’s will be split evenly by both teams and paid immediately after the game. 
5. The referee’s will be appointed by B.I. and the TO’s by the home team.Game date, time &            

       Venue to be emailed to mmurray@ireland.basketball at least 5 days prior to tip off.

11. Hall hire to be paid by home team.
12. Game rules and regulations to follow standard FIBA national league rules.
13. Age requirements are as follows. 
14. O40 Men Must be 40 Years or older in 2025
15. O40 Women Must be 40 Years or older in 2025
16. O50 Men Must be 50 Years or older in 2025
17. O50 Women Must be 50 years or older in 2025

19. Results: Emailed to masterscups@basketballireland.ie by home team. Please use the following format:        Half Time Score, Full Time Score, Top 3 scorers names from each team 
20. A minimum warm up time of 30 minutes must be given to the travelling team by the home team.
21. Each team will be required to pay a bond of €165.00 as part of the application process. Failure to complete a fixture, withdrawing from the competition or playing ineligible players will result in forfeiture of the bond.
22. A fee of €160.00 per team will be levied on each team entering the competition. The money collected will be ringfenced for Masters Basketball and ensure the sustainability of the competition.
